Privacy

Your details, kept simply.

Last updated 6 October 2026

This site belongs to Maxine Sanders. It collects as little as it can: what you choose to send through the contact form, and anonymous counts of visits. It sells nothing, shows no advertising and sets no cookies for visitors.

When you write to Maxine

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, a reason for writing and your message. These are passed to Web3Forms, a form service, which emails them to Maxine's office.

Your details are used only to read your message and reply to it. They are not added to a mailing list, sold or shared with anyone else. Messages are kept only for as long as they are needed to deal with what you asked.

When you visit

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives your device's IP address in order to send you the pages.

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, so Maxine can see which writings are read. It does not use cookies and does not identify you. Vercel Speed Insights records how quickly pages load, so slow pages can be fixed.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies. The private editing pages used by Maxine's team set a sign-in cookie; visitors never reach those pages.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of any details held about you, ask for them to be corrected, or ask for them to be deleted. Write through the contact page and say what you would like.

If you are unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
